Race for the Cure Volunteering

October 21, 2016byPepper Hastings0

One in eight women in the U.S will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime. Innovative-IDM employees jumped in and used their MVP hours towards Susan G. Koman Race for the Cure. Volunteering for registration was nonstop fun, the flow of people coming in to pick up their race day packets or to register was a site to behold. We passed out survivor shirt, after survivor shirt and had the opportunity to spend time hearing their stories meeting their friends and family. The event raises significant funds and awareness for the breast cancer movement, celebrates breast cancer survivorship and honors those who have lost their battle with the disease.
