To:                   ABB Low Voltage Products Customers

Attn:                 Purchasing Manager/Pricing Personnel

cc:                    ABB Sales & Marketing Personnel

Ref:                  Pricing Action Announcement Effective January 1, 2012

Increased global demand has forced continued upward pressure on the cost of raw materials and components we use to manufacture ABB Low Voltage Products. While ABB has worked to increase manufacturing efficiencies to offset these costs, we find ourselves forced to increase the pricing of our products 5-7%.

ABB will honor existing quotations for 60 days from their inception.  After that period, all open negotiations must be re-quoted.  All orders currently in-house that are not released (hold for release status) will be subject to the price increase.

Standard product orders entered for immediate release (shipment) by Friday, December 30, 2011 at 5:00pm CST will be invoiced at the current price levels. Orders received after Friday, December 30, 2011 at 5:00pm CST will be invoiced at the new price levels.
