AC Motors – C-Face Kits
Our C-Face Kits include the necessary parts to convert a rigid base mounted motor to NEMA C-Face with base. The C-Face kits may not be used as replacements on a factory produced C-Face motor. Note! On some frame sizes, a non-NEMA BA dimension may result when adding a C-face kit. Consult Catalog page for Frame sizes effected.

 

AC Motors – D-Flange Kits
Our D-Flange Kits include the necessary parts to convert a rigid base mounted motor to NEMA D-Face with base. The D-Flange kits may only be used on rigid base motors. They will not fit on NEMA C-Face motors.

 

AC Motors – Encoder Kits
These Kits include the parts and encoder for field assembly of slim-line, through-shaft encoder designed to slip over the motor’s fan end shaft. Blower kits are now needed to cool the motor. Output is 1024 pulses per revolution, quadrature, 5 to 28 VDC line driver output. Short-circuit protection is standard. Inputs are over-voltage and reverse-voltage protected. Electrical noise immunity exceeds international standards. Encoders are isolated from shaft currents using hard anodized sleeves and non-metallic anti-rotation hardware. Designed for long-life in industrial environments using an all-metal, shock resistant code disk. The encoder is protected by the motor’s fan cover after mounting.

 

AC Motors – Adjustable Motor and Transition Bases
Specifications: Adjustable Motor Bases
These Heavy-duty gauge steel mounting bases simplify the installation of motors and make the tensioning, maintenance and replacement of belts a simple efficient task. Fabricated from sheet or steel plate, then primed and finished in a gray rust and corrosion resistant oven-baked finish. Gussets and reinforcing channels on larger units and continuous seam welding on all units give these bases strength and durability for a long life. Motor mounting bolts are included.

 

Specifications: Transition Bases
Transition bases compensate for the difference in mounting dimensions and shaft height of a rigid base NEMA T Frame to the next higher NEMA U Frame. This makes it possible, for example, to replace a 10 HP NEMA 254 U Frame motor with a 10 HP NEMA 215T Frame motor without modifying the basic installation. They are designed for horizontal mounting – shimming may be needed for direct-coupled loads.

 

AC Motors – Terminal Block Kits
Terminal Block Kits are used for 150 and 170 Series NEMA Frame Cast Iron motors. Can also be used for replacement terminal boards on our 193 Series Cast Iron and 192 Series aluminum IEC metric motors.

 

AC Motors – Blower Fan Kits
These kits are used for converting 150 and 170 Series Cast-Iron, TEFC motors and Rolled Steel TEFC motors to Totally-enclosed Blower Cooled motors. Cooling per MG1.6 (IC46). The kits are designed for inverter and vector duty applications where continuous cooling is required regardless of motor shaft speed. These kits are mounted on the back of the motor after removing the fan guard and fan. No modification to the motor is needed for mounting these blower kits.

 

AC Motors – Severe Duty Conversion Kits
Cast Iron Fan covers for cast iron motors. Designed to easily convert TEFC motors to all cast-iron construction. All these motors have inert, corrosion resistant fiber filled thermoplastic fan as standard. Kit includes one cast-iron fan guard.

 

Drip Cover Kits
These Kits are designed to protect drip-proof motors from rain, snow and ice when mounted outdoors in a vertical position. We also have a Drip-Cover Kit available for a 213-215T – TEFC – Steel Frame Motor.

 

Textile “Lint-Proof” Kits are used to protect TEFC motors in applications where lint and debris is present that may get caught in the vents of the fan guard.

 

Rodent Screen Kits
This enables you to add a “Screen” enclosure to the motor’s vents to help prevent rodents from entering and causing damage to the interior components of the motor.

 

Metric B5 & B14 Flange Kits
B5 Flange Kits are available to convert a rigid mount (B3 Mount) IEC Metric motor to a B5 Flange mounting. Kits are available for both Aluminum and Cast-Iron frame IEC motors.

B14 Flange Kits are available to convert a rigid mount (B3 Mount) IEC Metric motor to a B14 Flange mounting. Kits are available for both Aluminum and Cast-Iron frame IEC motors.

Reduced Diameter B14 Metric Flanges are used to reduce the existing motor’s flange to the next lower frame size.  Example:  You can put a 71 frame, B14 Flange, on an 80 frame motor to reduce the mounting surface to the next lowest frame size.  Some imported equipment will sometimes have a flange face that is different than the motor’s frame size. Flanges come pre-fitted with oil seals and have all the necessary hardware for easy field mounting.
