History of Innovative-IDM
Innovative-IDM was founded April 3, 2000 as Innovative Automation on the principles
of business integrity, team loyalty and a model of “doing the right thing”
for our customers, employees and vendors. Along the way, Innovative allied with
key channel partners such as Omron, Omron STI, Parker EMN and SSD, SMC, Wago, Yaskawa
Drives and Yaskawa Motion. IA entered the industrial electronics repair and factory
field service business in 2008. Innovative was recognized as an INC 5000 fastest
growing private business in 2007, 2008 and 2009. In August 2010, Innovative Automation
acquired Omron Service Centers (formerly Omron IDM Controls) and changed the name
of the company to Innovative-IDM, with distribution and manufacturing locations
in both Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston, and including sales and field service technicians
across the southern U.S. Our technologies and services represent blue chip choices
for our customers.
